Hands Across the Nations is based in the city of Cochabamba, the third largest city in Bolivia, and works closely with the Manos a traves de las Naciones Foundation, its charitable counterpart in Bolivia. Our most recent work involves a partnership in the Alto Plano community of Quelcata for compostable latrines and greenhouses. Read more
Hands Across the Nations works in the village of Mana, located about 100km south of the capital city of Bamako. This village is largely comprised of subsistence farmers. The partnership in this community has grown to support a health center, agricultural initiatives, educational support and water filtration implementation. Read more
People in developing countries suffer more from health problems and die younger, especially in rural areas. Rates of child and maternal mortality, disease and illness are higher in developing nations and people’s access to health services is limited. Read more
Education is the key to improving the future of people living in developing countries. With a proper education, children can learn the tools to alleviate poverty, improve their family’s economic situation and eliminate disease. Read more
