Hands Across The Nations was founded on a number of values that act as our guiding principles.  It is these values that remind us of our purpose and commitment to the developing world. 

HATN is a Christian organization.
We believe that God has called us to serve the poor and to demonstrate His love and compassion.   

HATN is respectful. 
HATN respects people of all cultures, faiths and social positions. 

HATN values people and relationships.
Building relationships with the individuals in the communities we serve, with our volunteers, and with our partners is the cornerstone of HATN.  People are our priority.

HATN is committed to the communities we serve.
We will continue to work in the communities we serve until it is determined that the aid we provide is no longer required.

HATN is fiscally responsible.
We are accountable to our supporters.  We humbly accept and use our resources to further advantage the communities in which we work.
